Ganze fünf Jahre ließ sich VAN BLOOMEN-Mastermind Marcel Van Blumen für sein neues Album Zeit – gut Ding will nun mal Weile haben. Nachdem das BLOOMEN-Debüt „Geist“ auf Pro Noize veröffentlicht wurde, erscheint „Loser“ auf Marcels eigenen Sleeping Cat Records-Label – digital und in einer auf 100 Stück limitierten Tape-Edition. Im Gegensatz zu Marcels Electro-Punk-Projekt 100BLUMEN geht es bei VAN BLOOMEN mehr in Richtung (gute! alte!) Achtziger: Ein gerüttelt Maß Coldwave, ein Spritzer Industrial, ein schöner Anteil Disco, abgerundet mit pulsierenden Technobeats – Tanzmusik im wahrsten und besten Sinne des Wortes!
VAN BLOOMEN mastermind Marcel Van Blumen took a full five years to complete his new album – good things take time, after all. Following the release of BLOOMEN’s debut album ‘Geist’ on Pro Noize, ‘Loser’ is now being released on Marcel’s own Sleeping Cat Records label – digitally and in a limited edition of 100 tapes. Unlike Marcel’s electro-punk project 100BLUMEN, VAN BLOOMEN leans more towards the (good old!) eighties: a good dose of coldwave, a splash of industrial, a nice bit of disco, rounded off with pulsating techno beats – dance music in the truest and best sense of the word!
